- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD) requires the award of one of more indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery contracts for the purchase of various quantities of the following standard commercial vaccines manufactured under a current establishment and product license issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration: 1. Diphtheria and Tetanus Toxoid and Acellular Pertussis (DTaP); 2. Diphtheria and Tetanus Toxoids and Acellular Pertussis Adsorbed, Hepatitis B (Recombinant), and Poliovirus Vaccine Combined (DTaP/Hep B/IPV); 3. Diphtheria and Tetanus Toxoids and Acellular Pertussis combined with Haemophilus Influenza Type b (DTaP/Hib); 4. Diphtheria and Tetanus Toxoids and Acellular Pertussis Adsorbed and Inactivated Poliovirus (DTaP-IPV); 5. Diphtheria and Tetanus Toxoids and Acellular Pertussis Adsorbed, Inactivated Poliovirus and haemophilus b Conjugate (Tetanus Toxoid Conjugate) Combined (DTaP-IP-HI); 6. Enhanced Inactivated Polio (E-IPV); 7. Hepatitis A (Pediatric); 8. Hepatitis A & B Combination (For Age 18 only); 9. Hepatitis B (Pediatric/Adolescent); 10. Hepatitis B - 2-dose Regimen (For Adolescents Age 11-15 only); 11. Hepatitis B combined with Haemophilus Influenza Type b (Hep B/Hib); 12. Haemophilus Influenza Type b (Hib); 13. Human Papillomavirus Vaccine (HPV); 14. Meningococcal (Groups A,C,Y and W-135) Polysaccharide Diphtheria Toxoid Conjugate (MCV4); 15. Measles, Mumps and Rubella combination (MMR); 16. Measles, Mumps and Rubella combined with Varicella (MMR-V); 17. Pneumococcal Conjugate (7 Valent); 18. Rotavirus; 19. Tetanus and Diphtheria Toxoid (Td); 20. Tetanus Toxoid, Reduced Diphtheria Toxoids with Acellular Pertussis Adsorbed (Tdap); and 21. Varicella. The vaccines awarded under the resulting contract(s) will be purchased by the NCIRD 64 immunization grantees (the fifty state health departments, several large city programs and current and former U.S. Territories) as provided under Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993 and Section 317(j) of the Public Health Service Act. Grantees may also purchase these vaccines using their own state funds. This acquisition wiill be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Vaccines shall be shipped F.O.B. Destination to the 50 states and U.S. territories. The period of performance shall be 12 months from 4/01/2009. All questions/concerns about the RFP shall be submitted via e-mail to BBiltz@cdc.gov. The complete solicitation package will be available and posted at this site for downloading when issued. No telephone requests of the solicitation will be accepted. No hard copy of the solicitation package will be mailed. It is your responsibility to keep up with additional postings regarding the RFP on the Fedbizopps Website.
