- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The VA Salt Lake City Health Care System is performing market research to determine if there is sufficient number of qualified General Construction contractors to set aside a New Mental Health Expansion project with a priority on a competitive Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business acquisition. The Government will use responses to this notice to make the appropriate acquisition decision. The proposed solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 15, Negotiations. The estimated construction range is between $2,000,000 and $3,000,000. NAICS Code 236220 is proposed for this acquisition. Interested and qualified sources that fall into the above mentioned categories are invited to submit their Capability Statements, no later than the date stated in this announcement, consisting of appropriate documentation, literature and references that include current point of contact and telephone number. Responses must include (1) recent and relevant Federal Government construction experience within the last three calendar years for projects of similar size, scope and complexity to the project proposed in this notice. Include contract number, location, scope of work, dollar amount, timeliness of performance and customer satisfaction; (2) work in a Hospital or Medical environment; and (3) bonding capability. All prospective contractors are required to have an active registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and FAR Part 4.12, prospective contractors must complete electronic on line annual representations and certifications (ORCA) databases prior to award of a contract. Both can be accessed at the Business Partner Network (BPN) website at http://www.bpn.gov/.
