Description

Solicitation N00421-09-T-0040 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This action is set aside for small business. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Video Dynamics Inc. Under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 the manufacturer must be Video Dynamics Inc. The contract line items are listed on the attachment. Award is expected to be 20 Feb 2009. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the 0800, 18 Feb 2009 may be considered by the Government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
