- Relocate Building 139 Main Power Distribution Switchgear, Hampton Veteran Administration Medical Campus, Hampton, Virginia. The work shall include all phasing for utility outages to get all buildings re-fed to the main circuits. There are 8 main circuits, a tie breaker, and two main breakers (A Feed and B Feed) which will have to be moved to the new location. The magnitude of construction is estimated $3,550,000.00. The receipt date for bids is 27 MARCH 2009 by 2:00pm. The site visit is scheduled for 4 MARCH 2009, 9:00am at Veteran Administration Medical Campus, Building 36, 2nd floor conference room, 100 Emancipation Drive Hampton, Virginia. THIS IS A SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN SET-ASIDE PROCUREMENT. NAICS CODE 238210 applies to this procurement. Submission requirements (plans/specs) will be available on/about 25 FEBRUARY 2009 via Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps, https://www.fbo.gov). Search on W91236% for solicitations issued by Norfolk District. No hard copies will be available. Prospective contractors must be registered Vendors with https://www.fbo.gov in order to download plans and specifications. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to obtain access to FedBizOpps. CCR Registration must also be active and current to be eligible for contract award.
