Description
The United States Government currently occupies approximately 55,948 BOMA rentable square feet of office and related space in a building in Fairfax, VA, under a lease that will expire on September 15, 2009. The Government is seeking to enter into a full service lease for approximately 55,948 contiguous rentable square feet commencing September 16, 2009 for a ten (10) year term with the option to terminate after the 5th year. The Government is considering whether to remain in its existing leased space or relocate to alternative space. The Government will consider relocation if alternative space can satisfy the Government’s requirements and costs related to rent, tenant improvements, moving, telecommunication relocation, and agency special requirements can be recovered through rental savings over the existing location. The property must be located within the delineated area of Dunn Loring/Merrifield, bounded by Route 267 – Dulles Toll Road in the North; From the intersection of Beulah Road and Route 267, South to Route 123, West on Route 123 to Route 243, South on Route 243 to Route 29 and then West on Route 29 to Route 50 in the East; Route 50 Lee Jackson Highway in the South; and Interstate 495 in the West.
