Description

The intent of this combined synopsis/solicitation and any resultant Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is to obtain services for fully operated and maintained light fixed wing aircraft services on a On-Demand basis Hiawatha National Forest, Escanaba, MI. Aircraft shall be used primarily for early detection of wildland fires. Aircraft shall meet the requirements of this schedule and the specifications included herein. Awards will not be made for aircraft not considered suitable for the Government’s need, or at costs determined to be unreasonable. Materially unbalanced offers/quotes between the base year and option year may be rejected. There is a mandatory performance period of 45 days, one Aircraft available within 24 hours notice from April 17, 2009 through May 31, 2009. During the Mandatory Performance period and any extensions thereof, the aircraft will be made available for the use of the Government. This requirement is being advertised as a 100% Small Business-Set aside. The contract period of performance will be for one base period with two renewable option periods.
