- Description
- This requirement is for NSN 6140-01-485-1472, Battery, Storage, Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) which is identified by Enersys Energy Products, Inc. (0WY95) P/N 9750N7025. RFP will cover requirements for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for a 1-year base period and four, 1-year option periods. The estimated annual quantity is 129,744 ea for the base and each option year. The RFP will cover both DLA Direct and Customer Direct requirements. Customer Direct requirements will consists of CONUS deliveries only. FOB is Destination for DLA Direct Shipments. FOB is Origin for Customer Direct shipments. Inspection and Acceptance will take place at Destination for both. Specifications, plans, or drawing related to this procurement are not available and cannot be furnished by the government. Solicitation will be issued Unrestricted on an Other Than Full and Open Competitive basis. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Trade Agreements apply in accordance with Clause 252.225-7021. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. No Internet Quoting Service (IQS) or Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) quotes will be accepted for this solicitation. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on the issue date cited in the RFP. From the DIBBS homepage, select “Search RFPs” from the toolbar. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requesters. Solicitation will be made in writing and is estimated to be issued on 23 February 2009.
