- PROCUREMENT DESCRIPTION: To remove old carpeting and provide and install new carpeting at the Auditorium (approximately 1,062 sq. ft.) located at Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial, National Park Service, in Lincoln City, Indiana. All existing auditorium seating will be removed by the seating contractor. It is imperative the carpeting vendor be willing and able to comply with the seating contractor's seating removal and seating installation schedule as the existing carpeting must be removed and the new carpeting installed within a 24-hour period beginning the day the seating is removed by the seating contractor. The carpet vendor, when removing the existing carpet shall also be required to remove any seating hardware that remained affixed to the floor after removal of the seating, and patch any holes in the floor prior to installation of the new carpet. Product specifications and work to be performed are detailed in Solicitation Q6400090200 which will be made available and posted no later than February 7, 2009. DELIVERY SCHEDULE: Vendor must be prepared to make installation of carpet as early as February 23, 2009; however, at the scheduling and needs of the government, may require delay of installation to March 20, 2009. NAICS CODE: 442210 PSC CODE: 7220 SET ASIDE: This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside SIZE STANDARD: The small business size standard is $7.0 Million. MAGNITUDE: Between $2,500 and $25,000. The solicitation, when posted on or before February 7, 2009, will be available on the Department of Interior (DOI) E-Commerce website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov under Request for Quotation Q6400090200, or by requesting a hard copy via e-mail to kathryn_logsdon@nps.gov. ALL QUOTATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN HARD COPY. NO ELECTRONIC QUOTATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. REGISTRATION: Prior to being awarded a procurement under this solicitation, the successful offeror MUST BE REGISTERED in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and have completed their online Representations and Certifications. It is highly recommended that interested parties who will be submitting quotes in response to the solicitation, register immediately. Failure on the part of the successful quoter to be registered in the CCR and ORCA by the date required by the Contracting Officer will result in the contract being awarded to the next otherwise successful offeror.
