- Site Visit: February 18th, 2009 at 1:00pm CST at Fort Leonardwood. Details provided in the RFP, page 14 of 61. General Scope of Work includes, but not limited to: Construction of a 5-Station Urban Assault Course (UAC) at Fort Leonardwood, MO. The contractor shall provide all manpower, equipment, materials and coordination for construction of the 5-Station UAC, the operations/storage building, the aerated Vault Latrine, site word and all associated work for the project as specified in the plans and specifications. Bid Guarantees Required: 20% of Bid Price of $3M, which ever is less. Liquidated Damages: $870 for each calendar day of delay. Small Business Set Aside: NAICS 237990 - Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a size standard of $33.5M. The estimated period of performance for completion of construction and final cleanup is 365 (three-hundred sixty-five) calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). The solicitation is issued as a request for proposals (RFP) which will result in the award of a single Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Construction contract. Proposal responses are due TUESDAY, MARCH 10, 2009 no later than 1:00pm CST. This solicitation with plans, specifications, and any amendments, will be published in electronic format on FebBizOpps https://www.fbo.gov. Vendors must be actively registered in FEDTEDs to obtain a copy of this solicitation.
