- The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), contemplates the acquisition of spare parts for a tester commercially known as Teradyne "TestStation 8X". The DOT/FAA anticipates the award of a firm-fixed-price type purchase order. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334515. All offers are due by 3:00 p.m., Central Standard Time, on February 23, 2009. Quotes shall be submitted by facsimile at (405) 954-9219 or e-mail at beth.orton@faa.gov. Please reference RFQ DTFAAC-09-R-02434. Prior to award of a purchase order, all contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration, www.ccr.gov. In addition, all contractors shall complete and return the attached Business Declaration Form with their quotes. Potential offerors should note that the FAA reserves the right to communicate with one or more offerors at any time during the solicitation process. This RFQ is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of proposals. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
