- Description
- 1. Request BDTT Trainers to train the USMA Staff and Faculty in support of the upcoming Cadet Summer Training. Specifics are as follows: a.Number required 3 Triage Senior Trainers (for a ratio of 1 trainer per 10 trainees). b.Must be able to work a maximum of 10 hours daily; hours could be irregular (0600-1600). c.Ability to conduct a pre-training site survey of approximately 48-72 hours in duration, to identify training areas, facilities, and resources and prepare instructors to begin execution of training upon arrival. d.Training days may not be consecutive but will amount to 16 total days of training, no including pre-execution site survey (2-3 days), with no more than 10 working hours in a training day. e.Trainers must be able to provide the following specific training tasks under simulated combat conditions utilizing an outcomes based training and education methodology of instruction: 1)Evaluate a casualty 2)Open and secure an airway 3)Seal an open pneumothorax 4)Needle decompress a tension pneumothorax 5)Control External Bleeding 6)Initiate an IV with saline lock 7)Apply a nasal pharyngeal airway f.Trainers must be able to utilize the BDTT course as a vehicle to demonstrate outcomes based training and education in order to develop the capability of the USMA Staff and Faculty to apply this methodology in future operations. g.Contractor will need to provide transportation for individuals between hotel and actual training location. h.Contractor will need to provide lodging arrangements for the individuals in the local area. i.Dates of training are from 17FEB09-12MAR09.
