Description

The Virginia Contracting Activity intends to issue a sole source award to BAE Systems for existing SOCET SET software application licenses. The contract will be made on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures and 13.501(a) - Sole source acquisitions. This notice is issued for information purposes only and is NOT a request for competitive quotes. Pursuant to FAR 6.302-4 the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Any interested party should submit a statement of capabilities in sufficient detail to determine if the requirements of this notice can be met, no later than 5 days of this announcement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based on responses from this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. Responses to this notice must be sent via email to jennifer.sylvestre@dia.mil. NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED
