Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26. This procurement is unrestricted and the associated NAICS code is 332420. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation: Storage Tanks as per attached statement of work. 0013 - Shipping to Norfolk, VA Delivery will be to: NORFOLK OCEAN TERMINAL 9248 VIRGINIA AVENUE BLDG CEP-201 NORFOLK VA 23511 The following provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. Please include the technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation. This may include product literature, or other documents. Also, include a statement in the offer specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the solicitation. Offers that fail to furnish required representations or information, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration. Please specify the FOB point, estimated delivery time, and discount terms. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items. Quotes will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable.
