Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR A QUOTE. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND QUOTES WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The National Institutes of Health Office of Logistics and Acquisitions Management intends to issue an award with: TVAR Solutions, LLC. 7901 Jones Branch Drive Suite 310, McLean Virginia 22102-03341. to provide Data Domain Expansion Shelf Upgrade, ES20, 8TB, Single Control. No.solicitation exists for this requirement. The products are commercial as defined in FAR Part 2. The total contracted dollar amount will not exceed the Simplified Acquisition threshold; therefore it will be procured under the authority of FAR 13.106 1 (b) and FAR Subpart 6.302-1 based on the specifications below. A market research was conducted using various methods to include: internet searches and telephone inquires. Several vendors responded but were all over priced and other did not meet the requirement. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 423430 and the Size standard is 7,000,000. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and the Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in proposal preparation. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to a previous notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
