Description
The NAICS Code is 611430. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD), Port Hueneme, California intends to issue a Cost Plus Fixed Fee Order on a sole source basis to BAE Systems, Armament Systems Division, 163 Rochester Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40214-2683, under Basic Ordering Agreement Number N00024-07-G-5438. The Contractor BAE Systems will conduct three (3) MK 110 MOD 0 courses for the U. S. Navy/U. S. Coast Guard. These courses will be separately priced and offered. The courses will include: #1). Operator Maintainer and Intermediate Level Maintenance (OM&I) Contractor Format Course (CFC). #2). Supervisor's Course. #3). An initial shipboard Operator's and Maintainer's (O&M) course. The Shipboard Operator and Maintainer's course as well as the Intermediate Level courses will be a five-week course but will not award a qualification or Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) code. The Supervisor's course shall be one (1) week in length and is for! ship's weapon officers, tactical operations officers, commanding and executive officers, division heads or DOD/USCG civilians as necessary. BAE Systems is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for the MK 110 MOD 0 Gun Mount. The OEM is the only current source for training and education on the system since no formal Navy or Coast Guard course currently exists. The OEM has unique expertise and instructors qualified to teach operation, maintenance and corrective actions on the gun weapon system. The MK 110 training is required to train initial and replacement crews for the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) and National Security Cutters (WMSL). The Intermediate Level training is required to train USCG and USN shore based operators and maintainers, technicians and engineers for ship support. Notes 22 & 26 apply.
