- US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) proposes to award to; Legal Business Name: Transoma Medical, Inc., (Data Sciences International), 4211 Lexington Ave N #2244, Saint Paul, MN 55126-6157 a sole source contract. Data Sciences International has carved a very special niche in this area of research whereby animals are surgically equipped with a telemetry implant capable of acquiring and transmitting various useful real-time physiological data parameters to integrative series of hardware and software modalities (the Ponemah system). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document exists. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated required product within the established timeframe is invited to submit written notification to this office within four (4) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firms ability to provide the stated product within the established timeframe. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent, Gay Hayden, at gay.hayden@us.army.mil. No telephone requests will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated, however a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, USAMRAA will proceed with the sole source contract.
