Description

COMMERCIAL ITEM: The Forest Service is in need of the removal of hazard trees and associated slash from the South Fork Campground. The project will consist of the falling and removing of all fire-killed trees marked in blue paint above stump height from within the contract area. Trees will be whole-tree-yarded and accumulated at landing areas. Timber and associated slash will then be trucked approximately 0.6 miles, sorted by species, and decked. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies, and incidentals to perform all work necessary on the areas specified. All aspects of the work program shall be performed in an organized, systematic manner to assure services will be performed over the entire unit. LOCATION: Project is located at the South Fork Campground, Cascade Ranger District, Boise National Forest. CONTRACT TIME: Estimated start date is February 23, 2009 with 20 calendar days for completion. NAICS code: 115310. SIZE STANDARD: $7.0 Million. Project is 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside.
