Description

The United States Coast Guard, Civil Engineering Unit Juneau intends to award a sole source purchase under Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial repair services to Yukon Equipment, Inc., Anchorage, Alaska, for repair of an Oshkosh Snow Blower located at USCG LORAN Station, Port Clarence, Alaska. The vendor is the only known authorized Oshkosh service agent in Alaska. The services required are inspection and repair of drop box assembly and associated drive shafts. The equipment is essential for snow removal at the LORSTA. The anticipated award date is 2/9/09. This notice is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
