- ***SEND ALL INFORMATION INCLUDING TECHNICAL QUESTIONS AND OFFERS FOR CONSIDERATIONIN WRITING TO PAMELA JACKSON AT PAMELA.L.JACKSON@NASA.GOV OR FAX 256-544-6560.***NASA/MSFC has a requirement for [(6) CFD-ACE annual license including CFD-GEOM, CFD-VIEW,Multi-physics and Stress models. Also, (6) Processor Parallel upgrades.NASA/MSFC intends to purchase the items from CFD Research Corporation on a sole sourcebasis.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to Pamela Jackson at pamela.l.jackson@nasa.gov no later than 4:30 p.m.CST time on _February 5, 2009.Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solelyfor the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on acompetitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed efforton a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solelywithin the discretion of the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
