- Description
- VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105, is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Correction of AWE Deficiencies of Fire Protection System. Contractor shall provide all necessary supervision, labor, materials and equipment to perform Project No. 506-09-159, Install Sprinklers. Provide all labor and materials to correct AWE Deficiencies in Fire Protection System. This includes: 1) Modifying 141 existing sprinkler head locations in 6th floor storage area to upright position per NFPA Standards; 2) Installing a fire sprinkler in the A838 Storage Room; 3) Installing fire sprinklers in FG01 Elevator Machine Room. The installation shall ensure power will be disconnected to the elevator machine room prior to activation. This procurement has been set-aside 100% for award to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Concerns (SDVOSB). Offers from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered and shall be rejected. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 2/16/2009. NAICS 238220 applies. Size standards $14 million. Project cost range: between $25,000 to $100,000.
