- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A Request For Quotes (RFQ) is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. SOLICITATION #: F3G0AA9015A001 This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request For Quotes. Please include this Solicitation number on your RFQ. NAICS: 532490 This combined synopsis/solicitation is being issued as a 100% small business set aside. The small business size standard for NAICS 532490 is $16.5M. Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, NV 89191 requires: A three (3) day Rental of one ( 1 ea.) Truck or Trailer Mounted LED Display Screen Jumbo Tron with screen size of 22 feet by 30 feet with 16 foot lift; Pixel Pitch: 23mm; 68 billion color capability with digital signal; Screen Height: 21 feet and 7 inches by 29 feet and 7 inches wide by 34 inches deep; Rotation: 360 degrees; Video Inputs: Analog Composite (BNC), S-Video (4-pin mini - DIN) and Analog Component (BNC) inputs; Footprint: 53 feet Long by 16 feet and 6 inches wide with outriggers extended; Generator: Kohler 60 KVA; 150 gallon tank capacity with 3 to 4 gallons per hour use rate. The Jumbo Tron will be used during the annual Fire Power Demonstration to be held at the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR) # 63 located at Point Bravo which is 27 miles northwest of Las Vegas, Nevada. Contractor shall provide all materials, supplies, equipment, labor, transportation, personnel, and all else necessary to insure the Jumbo Tron is setup, tested, in place, and fully operation no later than 0800 on Wednesday, 1 April 2009 for rehearsal before the fire demonstration event. Contractor shall also operate the Jumbo Tron during this 3 day event using their own company technically trained personnel. The equipment will remain on site and be capable of being operational within an hours notice and will remain on site no later than 1700 hours on Friday, 3 April 2009. *** All costs of miscellaneous materials and supplies and consumables, as well as labor and travel associated with this solicitation shall be incorporated into the total cost of the Vendor Price Quote as submitted. *** This is a firm fixed price type contract. The requirement will be solicited and evaluated under FAR 12, Commercial Items and FAR 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
