Description
The USDA Forest Service, National Forests in FL, intends to make a sole source award for short term, temporary management support services to Robert C. Ashburn & Associates, Inc. This notice is for information purposes only. The project consists of providing current expert advice and guidance in all administrative areas to the Executive Management unit of the U.S. Forest Service, National Forests in FL. Services include participating with the Forest Leadership Team as an advisor and consultant in all phases of administration, including budget, human resources, and acquisition; serving as liaison for the human resources migration to ASC; assisting with critical and ongoing employee relations cases and long term OWCP cases; liaison with budget and acquisition in the Regiona Office, Atlanta, GA, Southern Administrative Zone, and ASC; and providing expert advice and guidance on future staffing role/need of the Administrative Officer position. The proposed contractor has historical knowledge and current expertise in several ongoing critical personnel cases that the Forest is attempting to resolve and/or develop an appropriate course of action. The Forest anticipates filling the Administrative Officer position on a permanent basis within 6 months.
