- The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), on behalf of the U.S. Army Information Technology Agency (USAITA), intends to award a sole source contract to William Data Systems, LLC, 505 Huntmar Park Dr., Ste. 200, Herndon, VA 20170 pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The USAITA seeks to procure a one-year maintenance agreement for Exigence, FTPalert and Implex software products. William Data Systems is the developer of the products and is the only company which can provide maintenance and passwords for them. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 511210 with a small business size standard of $25M. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement within ten (10) days of this announcements posting date of 29 January 2009. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon any responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
