- The 6th Contracting Office is soliciting a requirement for Hotel guest rooms and Conference room rental for a United States Central Command HVICC Conference, located in downtown Tampa Fl. The requirement specifics. are: (a) approximately 16 guest rooms, (b) a main conference room with 35 person capacity, a command operations center with phone and internet connections with 24 hour access, (c) Parking passes during the event dates. The procurement is a competitive 100% Small Business set aside will result from this solicitation. The Government will award one (1) contracts to fulfill this requirement. The performance period from 12 February 2009 to 27 February 2009. This acquisition will be solicited using FAR part 12 (Commercial Item, 12.203). The government will evaluate the competitive offers by using the Best Value evaluation procedures. The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems Code (NAICS) is 721110 and the related small business size standard is $7 million,.and a Firm Fixed Price type purchase order. The response date for this solicitation is February 3, 2009 at 9:00 am Eastern Standard. Notification of any revisions to this solicitation will be provided via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at http://www.fbo.gov. Procurement documents will not be directly provided in a paper hard copy format or compact disc format. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check the FBO website daily for any posted revisions made to the solicitation. The solicitation will available for all interested parties to download from the FBO website. The closing date, time and submission, and site visit information will be included in the solicitation document. By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation.
