Overall length is 60.00 inches. Heat shrinkable tubing required. Item 2: Cable Assembly, AC Power, NSN 6150-01-487-4992, PN 17-1-5778, 20 Each, and consists of plug connector, several No. 4 and No. 16 wires, lug wire, several tie down straps and marker cables. There are five branches. Overall length is 42.00. Heat shrinkable tubing required. Both items support of Chemical Biological Protective Shelter (CBPS). NAICS is 33531. Required delivery is on or before 250 days after award. FOB Destination to Blue Grass Army Depot at the shipping address: BL6 W22PVJ Blue Grass Army Depot, Central Receiving, Bldg 220, Richmond KY 40475-5011. Estimated issue date is 10 Feb 2009. In accordance with FAR 8.602, the supplies covered by this solicitation are determined to be products furnished by Federal Prison Industries (FPI). Notwithstanding the inclusion of any set-aside provision or clause in this solicitation, award may be made to FPI, even if this solicitation is subject to a set-aside provision. Distribution Statement X and Export Control Warning are applicable to this items Technical Data Package (TDP). Distribution is authorized to US government organizations and private individuals or enterprises eligible to obtain export-controlled technical data in accordance with DoD Directive 5230.25. Technical data can only be distributed to contractors who have a current DD 2345, Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement on file with Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS). Prospective contractors will require custom cable assembly production capabilities in order to fabricate these items. Some sub-assembly component parts are specification controlled from two suggested sources and the original manufacturers: ITT Veam, CAGE: 55561, and J-Tech, CAGE: 0BW78. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
