Description: Notice of intent to award a sole source procurement under FAR Part 13.106 to FAIRBANKS MORSE.for supply of OVERHAULING OF FAIRBANKS MORES PARTS. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. the Government intends to procure directly from FAIRBANKS MORES as the only available source for this product. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. This notice is for information only. It is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation for offers. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 336611with a size standard of $25M. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed in writing to 36 CONS/LGCA, ATTN: Lt William Muir, Unit 14040 Bldg 17000, APO AP 96543-4040 or sent by email to william.muir@andersen.af.mil. Responses to this notice must be submitted within 10 days after this posting. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. Response to this notice is not required.
