Description
This announcement is a Request for Information (RFI). The United Sates Corps of Engineers,USACE is seeking preliminary marketing information from perspective companies. The requirement is to determine the commercial nature and availability, lead-time and delivery schedule for up to 65 B6 armored Toyota Land Cruiser diesel vehicles. The USACE at a minimum looks for industry to provide conclusive business case results for the listed items below, as well as other requests defined in the RFI. 1. In the past 3-5 years has your company sold or leased B6 or higher armored diesel 4x4 vehicles, Toyota Land Cruisers, Chevrolet Suburban SUV, etc to the U.S. Government 2. In the past 3-5 years has your company customarily offered B6 or higher standard equivalent armored diesel 4x4 vehicles for sale or lease to the general public as defined at either FAR 2.101 or the Commercial Item Determination hand book, reference attached file The definition of general public means, the people of a nation not affiliated with the government of that nation. 3. Lead time from receipt of order for 5 units and 65 units, Land Cruiser diesel B6 armored vehicles for delivery to Baghdad, Iraq. Automatic or manual, must be 4x4 any color. 4. Minimum and or maximum order quantity 5. Estimated FFP costs to included shipping and delivery costs. 6. A yearly total number of light B6 armored vehicles sold to any Government 7. A yearly total number of light B6 armored vehicles sold, leased, or licensed to general public, again The definition of general public means, the people of a nation not affiliated with the government of that nation. 8. Does your company offer a commercial warranty. 9 Does your company offer price point breaks or quantity discounts. If so then please provide with your response. Respondents should provide as a minimum: 1 a positive response to each of the questions above; 2 Provide a list of contracts and or contact email addresses who can provide past performance information relative to delivery schedule, quality of automotive fit finish, etc. Request you provide total number of light armored vehicles sold, or leased to the U.S. Government and general public within the past 3-5 years. The requested information is for planning purposes, and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement action will be issued. However, the USACE will utilize the information for technical and acquisition planning. It is recognized that cost information provided by the contractor is a preliminary estimate for planning purposes; the contractor will not be bound to these estimates. Subsequent acquisitions may follow in the ways to best meet USACE needs. The government invites comments related to possible purchase or acquisition strategies. If there is a GSA or other contract vehicle already available for the technology being proposed, please include this information in the response. All data received in response to this RFI marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from release outside the government. It is not the intent of USACE to reimburse providers for the cost of submitting information in response to this RFI. The Government will not return pictures, documents, graphs and or other requested information.
