Description
The Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment (AFCEE) along with Air Combat Command (ACC), Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Air Force Space Command (AFSPC), Air Material Command (AMC), and the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) will host the premier ESOH training event in the Department of Defense. The Environment, Safety & Occupational Health Training Symposium will be held 8-13 March, 2008 in St Louis, Missouri at the America's Convention Center. In its 19th year, the event will host participants from all Air Force major commands, local, states, and federal governments/academia, and many other agencies/industries from throughout the nation and world. Students will receive instruction from government and industry experts on environmental compliance, conservation, safety, envrironmental health, and resource protection issues facing the Air Force. The Symposium attendees are environmental specialists and managers, hazardour waste managers, logisticians, bioenvironmental engineers, public affairs officers, safety managers, contracting specialist and attorneys responsible for day-to-day environmental regulatory compliance. Exhibitors who specialize or offer innovative equipment and/or management expertise related to the Symposium theme are provided opportunities to participate. The organizers are interested in companies who offer state of the art approaches to Pollutiion Prevention, Waste Minimization, Information Management, Safety Management & Products, Voluntary Protection Program (VPP), Occupational Health, Monitoring and Site Remediation Technologies. Exhibit space is currently being offered. The exhibit period is 8-10 March, 2009, providing exhibitors the option of departing or having your staff take advantage of attending the world class training offered the remainder of the week at no cost. The symposium will also provide exhibitors the opportunity to present technical sessions on relevant ESOH success stories, case histories, and new technologies.
