Description
The Contractor shall provide labor, materials, and equipment as necessary to maintain the facilities in the Truman Visitor Center Area in a clean and orderly condition. Janitorial services shall include but is not limited to restrooms, floors, walls, displays, windows, baseboard, litter pickup, etc. All refuse and debris collected during performance of services shall be deposited in a designated dumpster. This contract shall begin 15 March 2009, or date of award if later, and continue through 20 October 2009 as scheduled. All janitorial services shall be performed at such times and in such a manner as not to interfere with the Visitor Center operations. Janitorial services, other than window washing, shall be performed after closing hours but prior to 7:30 a.m. This solicitation will be published in electronic format on FedBixOpps Internet Web Site https://www.fob.gov. Offerors are responsible for checking the Web Site frequently for any update(s) to this Pre-Solicitation Announcement or amendments to the Solicitation. The website is occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offerors inability to access the document at the referenced website. PLEASE NOTE: NEW CCR REQUIREMENTS - - - Prior to bidding, vendors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system. ORCA REQUIREMENTS - - - There is a new Federal initiative called Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). ORCA is a web-based system that centralizes and standardizes the collection, storage, and viewing of many of the representations and certifications required by the Federal Acquisition Regulations and previously found in Section 00600 of construction solicitations. According to FAR case 2002-024, vendors are required to use ORCA beginning 01 January 2005. To be eligible for contract award and prior to bidding, a firm must be registered in the database.
