Description

The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) at MacDill AFB intends to issue a sole source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to Automed Technologies, 875 Woodlands Parkway, Vernon Hills IL 60061 to provide a Opti-Fill-II Integrated Manual Pick Counting Scale+ Installation 2 EA to include a One Year Service Agreement IAW PWS Dated 26 September 2008 using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 13.106-1(b). Market Research conducted by contract specialist determined Automed Technologies to be the only source capable of fulfilling this requirement. The North American Industry Classification System is 423450 and the size standard is 500 Employees. Revised Numbered Notes 22: "This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and the Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in proposal preparation. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The 6th Contracting Squadron will consider all proposals received by 3:00pm EST (Eastern Standard Time) 30 January 2009, 5 days after publication of this notice.
