Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: THIS PROJECT IS SET-ASIDE FOR CERTIFIED HUBZONE CONTRACTORS. Estimated construction price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Performance period is 105 calendar days. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) code is 238910. The small business size standard is $14.0M. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required. The project work location is at U.S. Coast Guard Matagorda Range B Rear Light in the vicinity of Port O’Connor, Calhoun County, Texas. The project work includes, but not limited to furnishing all labor, tools, and equipment to modify the existing foundation and transport and install one (1) government-furnished 50 ft tapered steel tower. Government furnished tower is located in Corpus Christi, TX approximately two hours from installation site. Installation site is on a jetty at Matagorda Bay. The solicitation in its entirety and any amendments will be available at no charge online at http://www.fbo.gov under the above solicitation number on or about February 6, 2009.
