- Description
- This acquisition is for minor, noncomplex construction projects, maintenance, alteration, or repair for the Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) at Altus AFB, OK. All work shall conform to the requirements of the contract including furnishing all materials, labor, plant, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, management and other services (including engineering/technical design support), items and incidentals to perform the work. The Government anticipates competing the SABER acquisition within the 8(a) program. The government intends to award to the offeror who gives the government the greatest confidence that their proposal will meet the requirements. The government anticipates an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a one year base period and three one-year option periods. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The proposed contract will consist of fixed price delivery orders with a total guaranteed minimum for the base year of the contract of $75,000. The minimum/maximum delivery order limitations are set at $2,500 and $1,000,000 respectively. Delivery orders will be priced using the RS Means price book and coefficients. The estimated issue date for the solicitation is 11 February 2009. The complete solicitation will be posted on this web site. No hard copies will be provided. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor this website for any changes or updates. Any questions relating to this solicitation must be submitted in writing to the contracting officer.
