- Proposed contract is for FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. DESC: 6135-01-493-2736, Part Number 12984705, The item to procure is a NONRECHARGEABLE BATTERY USED ON M17, M18, M137M, M138, M171, M1A1E1 COLLIMATOR. NOMINAL CAPACITY @ 4mA, TO 2V IS 8.5 Ah; RATED VOLTAGE IS 3.6V; MAXIMUM I SEC. PULSE CAPACITY IS 60 mA; WEIGHT IS 1.78 oz; VOLUME IS 26 cc; OPERATING TEMPERATURE RANGE IS -55 Deg C to +85 Deg C. This item is source controlled and must be obtained from Tadiran Batteries. Contractors intending to compete in this procurement must obtain this item from the manufacturer or an authorized vendor. Requirements are for a 5 yr IDIQ type contract with a guaranteed minimum quantity of 12,294, with a maxium quantity for the life of the contract not exceeding 61,000 each, Non-Rechargeable Battery. FOB is Destination. For use on the M119 Howitizer. Estimated issue date is 14 FEB 09. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
