Description
AAC Air Armament Center Acquisition Process Update 2009 The Air Armament Center (AAC) is hosting the AAC Acquisition Process Update Forum 2009 for interested defense contractors on Monday, 09 March 2009, 8:00am to 5:00pm at the Eglin AFB Conference Center, Eglin AFB, FL. The forum will feature comments by Ms Judy Stokley, Air Force Deputy PEO for Weapons, Brig Gen Wendy Masiello, Air Force PEO for Combat Mission Support and additional presentations by key leaders of AAC. This forum is planned to provide your company briefings on the following topics: 1. Overview of Acquisition at the Air Armament Center 2. AFMC Develop and Sustain Warfighting Systems (D&SWS) 3. Update on Integrated Assessment Tools 4. Systems Engineering (SE) Update 5. Pre-Acquisition Planning 6. NDIA Symposium's SE Panel Follow-Up 7. Test and Evaluation Enterprise Perspective 8. AAC Contract Policy Update 9. AFPEO/CM Services Briefing 10. AAC Services Contracts Update 11. FY10 President's Budget Update 12. AAC Portfolio Results Specific program information is not anticipated to be discussed in the open forum. Industry participants will be offered brief (approx 30 minute) one-on-one meetings scheduled for 10-12 Mar 2009. Contractor personnel requiring access to Eglin AFB without a Common Access Card (CAC) must be signed on by a military or civilian employee (or a contractor employee with escort privileges). Please note attendees without CAC cards or retired/dependent military ID cards so escorts can be arranged. To maximize the number of companies able to participate and due to facility space limitations, each company will be limited to eight individual representatives in attendance. Parties wishing to attend must RSVP by email no later than 23 Feb 2009 to Ms Cheryl Mobley at Cheryl.Mobley2@us.af.mil. The emailed request must include: (1) names/addresses/phone numbers of up to eight attendees from your company; (2) who of the representatives does not have a valid CAC card or a retired military/dependent card for use in base entry; (3) full company name & address; (4) at least one current DoD contract number; (5) a designated Point of Contact with email/ address/ phone number; and (6) whether your organization would like to reserve a one-on-one session.
