- THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION BUT RATHER NOTIFICATION OF A PRE-SOLICITATION CONFERENCE. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAVAIRWARCENACDIV) Lakehurst is hosting a Pre-Solicitation Conference on 5 February 2009 at NAVAIRWARCENACDIV Lakehurst, NJ located on Highway 547, Building 678, Conference Room 128A, Lakehurst, NJ 08733. Directions to NAVAIRWARCENACDIV Lakehurst and local area information can be found at http://www.navair.navy.mil/lakehurst. The purpose of this event is to provide industry with updated electronic Consolidated Automated Support System (eCASS) Program information and to discuss the contents of the eCASS DRAFT RFP (N68335-09-R-0001). We intend to solicit feedback relative to any comments, requests for clarification and/or other suggestions for consideration, and any errors or omissions found in the DRAFT eCASS RFP or any associated attachments. We welcome industry participation to critically review and discuss mutual issues and concerns relative to our DRAFT RFP. No contractors will be authorized admittance to NAVAIRWARCENACDIV Lakehurst and/or the Pre-Solicitation Conference if they have not pre-registered via email by contacting Ms. Marybeth Kacek at marybeth.kacek@navy.mil no later than 3 February 2009. The tentative schedule of events follows: 0730 – 0800 Registration at Building 678 0800 – 1200Pre-Solicitation Conference General Session 1200 – 1300 Lunch 1300 – 1800 Prime Offeror One-on-One Sessions NOTE: Due to potentially high attendance, please allow sufficient time at the base security office to gain admittance to NAVAIRWARCENACDIV Lakehurst to arrive at building 678 for 0730 registration. The General Session will start promptly at 0800. General Session: Attendance is limited to five persons for Prime Offerors and two persons for non-Prime Offerors. One-on-One Sessions: Attendance is limited to ten persons total for each Prime Offeror’s Team. The one-on-one sessions shall be limited to 45 minute durations. One-on-one session availability is limited and will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Appointments for one-on-one sessions may be made by contacting Ms. Marybeth Kacek at (732) 323-2061 or via email at marybeth.kacek@navy.mil. All appointments shall be scheduled no later than 3 February 2009. Attendees are requested to provide questions and/or comments, in writing, in advance of the Pre-Solicitation Conference to Ms. Marybeth Kacek who can be reached via email at marybeth.kacek@navy.mil. The DRAFT solicitation is located on the NAVAIR homepage located at http://www.navair.navy.mil. Select “Doing Business” and then “Open Solicitations.” Look for amendments on the web page. Hard copy of solicitations and amendments will NOT be mailed to contractors.
