Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Applied Biosystems, 850 Lincoln Centre Drive, Foster City, California 94404, for continued maintenance coverage of Applied Biosystems equipment. The items to be covered are two (2) 7000 Sequence Detection Systems; two (2) 3130-16 Genetic Analyzers; and four (4) 7500 Real Time PCR Systems. All are presently covered by the AB Assurance 1 PM Plan. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy Agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
