- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Federal Protective Services, Region 1 plans to enter into a contract for the purchase and installation of flat screen monitors for a new expandable virtual video wall. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 13.105, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-29. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334119 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. This requirement is a Small Business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit quotes. Scope of Work Installation of new expandable Virtual Video Wall with 42" and 20" Flat Screen monitors, Installation of conversion and connection equipment to integrate into the Livewave and UASI Surveillance System. Location: JFK Federal Building, Boston, MA. Delivery: 30 Days after acceptance of order Purchase and install (1) 42" High Resolution Ultra Pixel Flat-Screen Monitor Purchase and install (25) 20" EV1 Flat Screen Monitors Design and install an Independent Video Monitor Mounting System using 2" Design Form Pipe with floor and ceiling support mounts and interior flex joints for monitor attachments. This pipe system should be free standing and attached directly to the floor and ceiling behind the main monitoring console. All monitors will be mounted directly to the expandable pipe system. The system will be designed to run all monitor wiring internally to conceal and protect wiring harnesses. All cable runs will come up directly from the sub-floor or down through the ceiling with no exposed runs. Monitors will be mounted with flexible connections for angle alignment and ease of movement for viewing purposes. Separate monitor groups will be powered by independent circuits to ensure continued operation during circuit or power failures. Install "Sensor to Video" conversion kit with system connection into digital video recorder equipment for system tie-in. This will enable all future multi-aspect sensors to plug directly into the system and be viewed on the monitors as live footage or graphic displays.
