Description

PROJECT DETAILS: The solicitation will contain 3 schedules for roadway on CO PRA ROMO 10(5), Trail Ridge Road, in Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand County, Colorado. The project will consist of pulverizing, asphalt surfacing, and subexcavation on 17.36 km of roadway (the largest schedule). Estimated price range is between $7,000,000 and $11,000,000. Principal work items on the largest schedule include: 17.370 km of centerline verification and staking; lump sum contractor testing; 26,000 m3 of watering for dust control; 5,750 m3 of subexcavation; 210 m3 of mechanically placed special rock embankment; 168,500 m2 of pulverizing (150 mm deep); 705 m3 of roadway aggregate; 35,900 tons of superpave pavement; 200 tons of prime coat; 160 m of removal and resetting stone masonry guardwall; 7,620 hours of traffic control; along with associated erosion control, gabions, ditch reconditioning, fog seal, culverts, curb, and temporary traffic control devices.
