- The Defense Energy Support Center is seeking any known small business sources that have the capability to provide training services to Defense Energy Support Center (DESC) personnel and customers. Sources are required to reside within commuting distance from Washington D.C. due to travel and training requirements. Task requirements: Courses to be provided but not limited to are listed: •DESC OVERVIEW TRAINING •BULK PETROLEUM FUELS ACQUISITION COURSE •JOINT PETROLEUM SEMINAR •OVERVIEW FOR FT LEE PETROLEUM OFFICERS COURSE (POC) and US Army Warrant Officer Basic course. •HAZARDOUS MATERIALS REGULATIONS COURSE. •HAZWOPER ON-SCENE INCIDENT COMMANDER COURSE (INITIAL AND REFRESHER TRAINING •CONFINED SPACE COURSE The contractor must have extensive experience with technical material curricula development, energy/fuel seminar facilitation and teaching adult learners.
