Description
The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) has a requirement for the Landscape Maintenance Services for Grand Coulee Power Office, Grand Coulee, Washington. This acquisition is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR HUBZONE BUSINESSES. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561730 and the size standard is $7 million. The Service Contract Act applies to this procurement. The landscape maintenance requirement includes maintaining lawns, native growth, shrubs, and trees in developed and partially developed areas; operation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems; performance of pruning and shaping; herbicide and insecticide spraying; and other small items of work as requested by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). It is the intent of the Government, through this contract, to have a contractor fully maintain the project landscaped areas and perform herbicide and pesticide spraying as defined in the Performance Work Statement without assistance from the Government. The anticipated period of performance under this contract will be a base year with the possibility of four (4) one year option periods, for a total of up to five years. Reclamation intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) 09SP101716, at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about January 29, 2009. A one time site visit will be available after issuance of the solicitation. Any amendments applicable to this solicitation will be posted at the same site. To take advantage of business opportunities with Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) and the Department of the Interior (DOI) you must register your firm with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov or call 1-888-227-2423. Contractors are required to have a Dun & Bradstreet number (DUNS) in order to be registered in the CCR database. Lack of registration prior to award, may make an offeror ineligible for award. A contractor can receive a DUNS number by calling Dun & Bradstreet at (800) 333-0505. Internet registration takes approximately 72 hours; mail-in registration takes approximately 30 days. Contractors must complete an annual Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov.
