- The Naval Medical Logistics Command intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.5) with the Iridex Corporation, 1212 Terra Bella Avenue, Mountain View, California 94043, as the one responsible source that can provide a Gemini Laser System™ (YAG/KTP Laser System). This is the only system that combines both the 532 nm wavelength (KTP) and 1064 nm wavelength (Nd:YAG) into a single system, and the KTP component of the system has fluence capable of 100 J/cm2. Specifically, the contractor shall provide: - Gemini – KTP component, USA (Part # 0010-1090, Quantity 1 each) - VersaStat i, Gemini (Part # 0010-9990, Quantity 1 each) - VersaStat 10mm, Gemini (Part # 0010-9980, Quantity 1 each) - Dermastat 2mm (Part # 0010-2302, Quantity 1 each) - Protective Surgeon Glasses, 532 & 1064nm (Part # 0010-1350, Quantity 1 each) - Glasses, Eye Protection, 532 & 1064nm (Part # 0010-7000, Quantity 2 each) - Patient Eyeshields (Part # 0010-1600, Quantity 1 each) - Kit, PEK, Complete, Aesthetic (Part # 0010-1440, Quantity 1 each) - Brochure, Lyra Patient, Pk of 50 (Part # 0124-1670, Quantity 1 each) - Brochure, Patient Edu, Leg Veins (Part # 0124-1910, Quantity 1 each) - Brochure, Skin Rejuvenation, Edu (Part # 0124-3670, Quantity 1 each) - Brochure, Patient Edu, PFB (Part # 0124-2930, Quantity 1 each) - Brochure, Acne Laser Treatment (Part # 0112-7140, Quantity 1 each) This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures (IAW FAR 13.5). There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334510 with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product. All capability statements received within 15 days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Capability statements shall be submitted by email only as a MS Word or Adobe PDF attachment to Shannon Lertora at shannon.lertora@med.navy.mil.
