Description

The USDA Forest Service, Northern Research Center, 1992 Folwell Avenue, St. Paul, MN has a requirement for exterior envelope renovation. This project will consist of demolition of the existing curtain wall which leaks and is not energy efficient and replacing it with a new curtain wall. This will also include reinstallation of window blinds and all necessary ancillary work to complete the project. The project will be advertised as a Request for Proposal and the solicitation along with all plans and specifications and associated documents is expected to be posted on this website on or around January 22, 2008. The tentative closing date for receipt of proposals is February 20, 2008. The estimated value of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. There will be a scheduled site visit/preproposal conference and the date and time will be listed in the solicitation. This project is being advertised as full and open competition, and a firm fixed contract is expected to result from the solicitation. Award will be made based upon availability of full funding for this project. This project is being advertised pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program.
