- This is a presolicitation notice for a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the removal of two large trees driveway replacement at two Coast Guard owned housing units located in Newport, OR. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-29 that will be in effect beginning January 15, 2009 This solicitation incorporates the Davis-Bacon Act, FAR Clause 52.222-6 (Jul 05). The U.S. Coast Guard requires a contractor fully qualified in the field of driveway construction. Contractor is required to provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, transportation and incidentals to this project. The estimated costs range is between $15,000 and $20,000. This procurement is issued 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238990 and the applicable size standard is $14.0 Million. All responsible small businesses may submit a quotation. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. NO TELEPHONE OR WRITTEN REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR SOLICITATIONS OR POSTING STATUS. Solicitation documents may be accessed for download from the Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPS) website beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be on or about January 14, 2009) at the following site: https://www.fbo.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted on the website. Prospective quoters are responsible for checking the website for amendments up to the date and time of due (closing) date of February 4, 2009 2:00 P.M. Pacific Time for receipt of quotations. The technical data package (specifications and/or drawings) will only be available in FedBizOps. A plan holder’s list will not be available for this project. Vendors are encouraged to register their interest by entering their information in the Interested Vendors List (IVL) for this solicitation in FEDBIZOPS. The award of this solicitation is projected to be on or before February 20, 2009.*********Offers are due on February 04, 2009, by 2:00 pm local time.
