- The 21st Contracting Squadron, Peterson AFB (PAFB), CO announces a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Combined Public Notice and Solicitation, FA2517-09-T-5014, of the inspection and cleaning service for hood and duct systems. This announcement advertises a commercial item procurement using Acquisition of Commercial Items and Simplified Acquisition Procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 & 13. The government contemplates soliciting for the award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The acquisition is set-aside 100% for small business. The contractor will be required to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, transportation and other items and services necessary to perform inspections, cleaning and removal of dirt, grease and paint from specific hood and duct systems. The performance period of this contract will be for twelve (12) months, from 1 February 2009 through 31 January 2010. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561790, Other Services to Buildings and Dwellings, with a size standard of $7,000,000.00. The government will request written quotes from interested parties on 20 January 2009, no later than 2:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST). The anticipated award date is 23 January 2009 or sooner. The government will award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government. Evaluation will be based on price competition. Interested parties are requested to respond to this combined notice and RFQ no later than 20 January 2009, 2:00 p.m. MST. A site visit of the facilities is scheduled on 14 January 2009 beginning at 1:00 p.m. through 3:00 p.m. MST. Interested parties planning to attend the site visit will be required to submit information two (2) days prior to 14 January 2009 due to Base security requirements for entrance. On company letterhead, include the full name(s) of individuals planning to attend, social security number(s), duration of the visit, and the reason for the visit (Hood and Duct Cleaning Service). Interested parties planning to use privately owned vehicles will enter PAFB from the West Gate (off Powers Blvd.) and will be required to furnish current state drivers license and proof of insurance. Commercial vehicles will be required to enter PAFB from the East Gate (off Marksheffel Rd.). Questions regarding this acquisition need to be submitted in writing to contracting no later than 14 January 2008, 4:00 p.m. MST.
