Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a modification to contract N00019-08-C-0006 which was awarded on a sole source basis to Raytheon Company, Goleta, CA on 3 December 2007. This contract action will procure qualification testing and electromagnetic interference testing on an Integrated Multi-Platform Launch Controller (IMPLC) which incorporates modifications ensuring compatibility with the ALE-55 Decoy. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Raytheon Company, Goleta, CA. Raytheon is the only qualified source which possesses the technical data and detailed knowledge of the IMPLC which is required to perform this requirement in a timely and const effective manner. The authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 10, U.S. Code 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, “only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.” Questions concerning subcontracting opportunities should be directed to Mr. Bob Freeman at (805) 879-2031.
