Description

The Department of Commerce/National Institute of Standards and Technology intends to negotiate and award purchase order on a sole source basis with SAFE SOFTWARE, INC.,5020 14TH Avenue N, Saint Petersburg Fl, 33710, to provide renewal of maintenance for SafeSoft and SafeSFS licenses that NIST currently uses. The SafeSoft and SafeSFS software products maintenance are only available through safe software Inc. The period of performance is 02/01/2009 through 1/31/2010. The Government intends to solicit only this one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested concerns that can offer renewal for SafeAccess and SafeSFS may identify their capabilities by submitting a capability statement that demonstrates in written narrative format their ability to meet the requirement and objectives as described in this synopsis. Capability statements may be emailed to Maria.Gray@nist.gov. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice is not a request for quotation.
