- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a 100% set-aside for Small Businesses and is solicited under NAICS 115310. The small business size standard for this NAICS is $6.5 million. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-28. Description of Requirement: Tree Planting / Reforestation of John H. Kerr Reservoir, Boydton, VA. Plantings include third generation 1-0 bareroot loblolly pine and Improved 1-0 bareroot shortleaf and longleaf pine. Please see attachment for full specifications. This Request for Quote incorporates the following provisions: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items ---- Offerors must include a completed copy of 52.212-3 in their offer. This Request for Quote incorporates the following clauses: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items Other provisions and clauses included are in the attached SF 1449. Full text may be accessed electronically at www.arnet.gov/far. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR); the website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The completed Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (FAR 52.212-3) must be submitted along with each proposal. Quotes are due no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Time, January 16, 2008. You are encouraged to submit quotes electronically. They may be submitted on letterhead and faxed to the attention of Contract Specialist, Candy Rudner at (910) 251-4454 or emailed to candy.s.rudner@usace.army.mil.
