- REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Government is seeking to lease approximately 13,800 rentable square feet yielding a minimum of 12,000 ANSI/BOMA area square feet of contiguous office and related space, in Tacoma, WA. Secured/Gated structured parking is required for (24) government vehicles. The desired space should be located on the 2nd floor or above for existing buildings. Build to suit opportunities will be accepted. Requested space must be fully-serviced and in a building that can be customized to meet the Government's needs and security requirements. The building must be able to meet the Federal Government's fire safety, environmental and accessibility standards. All services, supplies, utilities, partitioning and tenant alterations are desired as part of the rental consideration. Space offered must have potential for efficient layout and be ready for occupancy by March 1, 2009. Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord, but any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence that they are authorized to represent the building's ownership. DELINEATED AREA: Space must be located within the following boundaries: North: South 7th Street South: South 21st Street East: East Dock Street West: Tacoma Avenue South LEASE TERM: Lease term is ten (10) years with a firm term of five (5) years. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST: If you desire to submit a location for consideration, please forward information by 5:00 PM PST, January 22, 2009. Expressions of interest should include building name and address or map coordinates for proposed tract, legal description, 1/8 inch scale drawing of space offered or site plan, rentable square feet offered and rentable rate per square foot (specifying services and utilities included), method of measurement used to determine rentable square feet, and contact information for owner or authorized agent.
