Description
SUBJECT: Draft RFP FA9453-09-R-0001, 709 Nuclear Systems Squadron (NSS) Nuclear Stockpile and CBRNE Technical Studies 1. This notice announces the release of subject draft solicitation for industry review and feedback for future anticipated solicitation No. FA9453-09-R-0001 entitled, 709 NSS Nuclear Stockpile and CBRNE Technical Studies. These documents are still in draft form. Our objective in providing these documents is to promote early exchange of information with industry and solicit comments regarding the acquisition approach. The government is interested in your comments regarding this draft request for proposal. Your response to this draft RFP is voluntary and all comments and suggestions will become the property of the Government. Your comments will remain anonymous unless your release is obtained in writing. 2. This is not a Request For Proposals (RFP) and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Any costs incurred as a result of this announcement shall be borne by the offeror and will not be charged to the Government for reimbursement. 3. Evaluation of the capability packages received in the Sources Sought Notice posted in FedBizOpps under 709 ARSS on 6 May 2008 resulted in a determination that a small business set-aside was not warranted. Competition will be full and open (unrestricted) for this solicitation. 4. Interested parties are to submit questions on or before 19 Jan 2009, 1700 hours MST viaemail to Gloria Sanchez at Gloria.sanchez@kirtland.af.mil with a cc: Shirley.Lindom@kirtland.af.mil.
