****ATTENTION**** FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO: Lalita Irving. You may MAIL your request to the ATTN: CCAM-CH-A (Bldg 5678), Lalita Irving, Contract Specialist. NO TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL BE ACCEPTED. The Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) has a requirement for the procurement of QTY: 37 each, NOUN: CH47 D/F Crew A BPS, NSN: 1560-01-548-2791, P/N: BPS47R2CREWA and QTY: 32 each, NOUN: CH47 D/F Crew B BPS, NSN: 1560-01-548-2792, P/N: BPS47R2CREWB. The BPS systems are needed to support expected surge operations and the deployment of additional CH-47D/F aircraft into the theater of operations. The contract vehicle anticipated is Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP). Authority Cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by paragraphs 6.302-1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). This requirement is restricted to The Protective Group, 14040 NW 58th CT, Miami Lakes, FL 33014. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Qualification Procedures for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation. However, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. See NOTES 22, 23 and 26
